Michelle organized a retirement party for me on Wednesday so after we all got our kids to bed we headed to the local bowling alley in Manayunk! We had so much fun...Lynnette was by far the cutest bowler and Robyn was the most agressive! Jill kicked some serious hinny in the first game with like 170 points (okay thats a stretch) but she beat the hound out of the rest of us. We had such a good time and I hope we can all go again soon because seriously I think we might be able to have our own league if we keep practicing!
Pancakes are good!
So the other day I made pancakes for dinner (lazy I know) but they were a big hit with Gabi. She couldn't shove it in her face fast enough! She always wants to eat what we eat but since she has no teeth it is hard...so this was a night she got to eat just like the rest of us!
Poo is Hungry
Brad wanted to feed Poo Bear a bottle the the other day so he made me get a bib and bottle and he patiently fed Poo Bear while I cooked some dinner! Gabi was asleep or she might have been the one getting that bottle shoved in her face! :-)
Dad is showing Brad how to play a little golf. Brad is actually getting pretty good. He can totally swing at the ball with his club down...actually making contact doesn't always happen but at least he is keeping it down. His daddy and him went to the driving range the other day and had so much fun!!!
Cool Dude
Do I even need to say anything?!?!
Two Bows!!
Okay so I didn't do this but Teri Miller did...I have been working on trying to get 2 bows in there and I can but they aren't perfectly lined up. Thank goodness to Mrs. Welsh or Gabi wouldn't have any hairbows and for everyone showing me how to put her hair up or Gabi would be in trouble!
Nap Time?
Brad crawled into bed with Gabi when she woke up from her nap and then turned on her mobile and they were watching it when I so rudely interrupted them for a picture. It was really cute and isn't Gabi's hair just gorgeous after a nap!
Brad and Zach are at it again!
Zach came by for a little visit and he and Little Brad had a little friendly race. Well, not really, but they look like they might be getting ready to race around the apartment...Brad is doing tricks on his and Zach is just enjoying the ride!
Brad feeding Gabi
So now that Gabi can sit in the high chair, everytime I feed her, Brad has to have a spoon too so he can help! He thinks it is so fun to feed her cereal and Gabi just thinks Brad is hilarious so she loves it! By the time we are done we have one BIG mess though!
Come on Mom...Let's clean
Brad wanted to help clean this week, but he didn't want to get his hands dirty...or his clothes for that matter! He was like mom...I will help you but I can't get dirty or ruin my clothes! How lucky am I to have such a helper around the house!
Our Family
Brad, Katie, Little Brad & Gabi posing for our Christmas picture!
Brad and I have been married for 6 years and have 3 kids. Brad is 5 and he is a ball of energy! Gabi is 2 1/2 and she is a sassy little lady, Sam is 2 months and he is absolutely adorable!
I am officially crazy about dressing Gabi up. I think she is a little doll to dress and I am trying so hard to learn to fix her hair. With a little practice and ALOT of prayer I am sure I will figure it out. She looks so cute in her little dresses and although you can't see her shoes, believe me she has some on. Little girls are SOOO much fun!
No Clothes!!!
I don't think we have any pictures of Gabi just in a diaper so the other day when I was getting her diaper changed she just flipped over and was so happy to be playing without an outfit on...in fact she squirmed and cried when put one on her! She is such a tiny little thing! But SO DARN CUTE!!!!
Gabi got so smiley once I got the camera out that I could not stop laughing at her. She literally starting smiling for the camera and striking a cute pose! Uh Oh...I think we are in some trouble with this little girl!
It's WAR...Underwear or Diaper!
Okay, so I was off work this week and decided we would try to potty train! Brad enjoyed wearing all the underwear but was unwilling to actually use the potty anywhere but in those underwear. After 3 days of lots of frustration...on my part only because Brad was more than happy to pee in whatever I put him in..we put the diaper back on! This is the most frustrating thing to date! Right now potty training seems like it might never happen.
If only I had teeth!
Gabi wants to eat food off the table so bad! Anytime we eat, she just stares at the food and looks so sad we don't share. There isn't a whole lot I can give her since she doesn't have any teeth but she does like biter biscuits and she likes bread sticks and crackers. She gets so excited whenever she can eat something other than baby food! What a cutie!!!
Feeding Time
Farmer Brad had to take time from his farming duties to feed his little sister. That is the type of kid he is...always willing to stop and help family out! He can't let our little peanut go hungry!
ZOO...On a Beautiful Day
So while it might not look like she was having fun...believe the zoo was a big hit with the Harris Kids!
Teach Me to Crawl
Brad does such a good job teaching Gabi to become mobile (As evidenced by the picture). He loves to dictate what she does and how she does it...and thankfully she goes along. How long do you think that will last?!?! Its fun to watch them together...Brad can be telling her how it is going to be and she just smiles at him and thinks he hung the moon!
